  • Review Quickbooks (Monthly, Quarterly, or Annually): A thorough review of all accounts in QuickBooks to ensure proper categorization of income and expenses, fixed assets, deductible and non-deductible expenses are recorded properly.
     

  • Analyze Costs: Analyze food, liquor, beer and wine costs for restaurants and other costs for variances.  Additionally, review comparison Profit & Loss for fluctuations in spending, analyze incoming cash for consistency.
     

  • Restructure Accounting Department: Analyze accounting staff, duties, and controls currently in place. Recommendations for improvements and efficiency.
     

  • Prepare Budgets: Assist with establishing budgets, analyze budget to actuals and work with management to adjust accordingly.

TAX PREPARATION & PAYROLL TAXES

Management of payroll and quarterly and annual taxes.

  • Prepare Quarterly & Annual Forms: Preparation of Federal and State quarterly forms, including annual required filings for all employees.
     

  • Remit Tax Deposits: Remit the monthly 941 tax deposits through the EFTPS IRS website.  If available, remit quarterly state unemployment payments.
     

  • Prepare Monthly/Quarterly Sales Tax Returns: Prepare monthly/quarterly sales tax returns and handle sales tax audit.
     

  • Annual Filing Fees: Renew corporate annual filing fee.
